We will continue to advocate with legislators that mental health care is health care and should be treated as such through explicit policy + coverage. Until then, we will be building tools as alternative access points for support and expanding the resources we have available for our community. Nature-based therapy works wonders for mental health because it taps into the innate connection humans have with nature, offering a soothing and grounding environment that encourages introspection and healing. Simply put, movement in nature propels us forward - literally and figuratively! In-Person, Nature-Based Therapy can be a standalone practice or engaged in conjunction with our virtual services. Currently, we have In-Person, Nature-Based sessions in Burnaby, as well as in a private, natural space in South Surrey.
